I can’t contain myself about this incredible opportunity in Edmonds,Washington. It was held last weekend. The second year for a gathering of urban sketchers from around the world. Extraordinary teachers, like Gabriel Campanario, Stephanie Bower, David Chamness, Genine Carvalheira, Mario Linhares, Jane Wingfield, Oliver Hoeller…just to name a few. Many published authors with an incredible amount of work. Most of the classes I wanted to take were gone by the time I signed up but I was privileged enough to volunteer with the group and we had some amazing warm days of sketching and learning. Most of the activities were within walking distance of Graphite and the Waterfront Center overlooking Puget Sound. Next year, I will start earlier and encourage you all to come and see, learn, walk with a group of like minded people. You not only learn to draw but it is alway to connect.

That one of a Kind… One day a year date has changed! This is an amazing sale from Artists that have extra supplies, pictures that need to be cleared out, glass, garden art, sewing all outside! Usually this sale is held the first Saturday of June but they wanted to have it this year and September seemed like the better time. This sale is very much worth going to, A long street filled with artists. This is the first time i will be selling my things, discontinued cards and prints, odd jewelry i have made in the past, frames, tags, bookmarks and some of my larger experiments in acrylic as well as extra supplies.
Oh… the date September 19th- Saturday 9-3, come early and bring your friends!
